^MU - Mode Units
Overview
The ^MU command sets the measurement unit system for all dimension parameters in ZPL commands.
Syntax
^MUaParameters
- a = Unit type
- d = Dots (default)
- m = Millimeters
- i = Inches
- c = Centimeters
Description
- Sets default unit for all measurements
- Affects ^FO, ^LH, ^LL, and similar commands
- Converts parameters to internal dot representation
- Useful for different measurement preferences
Usage Notes
- Set at beginning of format
- Affects all subsequent measurements
- Default is dots
- Must be consistent throughout format
