^LH - Label Home

Sets label home position

^LH - Label Home

Overview

The ^LH command sets the label home position, which establishes the reference point (0,0) for all subsequent field positioning.

Syntax

^LHx,y

Parameters

  • x = Horizontal offset in dots (left edge)
  • y = Vertical offset in dots (top edge)

Description

  • Defines the origin point for the label
  • Default home is (0,0) at top-left
  • Useful for adjusting label position on media
  • All field positions relative to this home

Usage Notes

  • Set at beginning of format
  • Affects all subsequent field positioning
  • Common values: 0,0 or small offsets for margins
  • Persists throughout format
