^MD - Media Darkness
Sets darkness/intensity of printing
^MD - Media Darkness
Overview
The ^MD command adjusts the darkness (print intensity) of the label output.
Syntax
^MDaParameters
- a = Darkness level
- Range: -30 to +30
- 0 = Default
- Negative = Lighter
- Positive = Darker
Description
- Controls print head temperature
- Affects ink/thermal transfer density
- Can darken or lighten entire label
- Used for print quality adjustment
Usage Notes
- Set once per format
- Affects all subsequent printing
- Printer default typically 0
- Adjust for media type
