^LL - Label Length

Overview

The ^LL command sets the length (height) of the label in dots.

Syntax

^LLy

Parameters

  • y = Label length in dots (height)

Description

  • Defines the height of the label
  • Affects label layout and printing
  • Measured from top to bottom
  • Printer feeds exactly this distance

Usage Notes

  • Set at format beginning
  • Common values: 600-1223 dots
  • 203 DPI: 1 inch ≈ 203 dots
  • Must match physical media

Calculation Formula
