^LS - Label Shift

Shifts label left (negative) or right (positive)

^LS - Label Shift

Overview

The ^LS command shifts the entire label position left or right on the media.

Syntax

^LSa

Parameters

  • a = Shift value in dots
    • Negative = Shift left
    • Positive = Shift right
    • 0 = No shift

Description

  • Adjusts horizontal label position
  • Useful for alignment on media
  • Positive shifts right, negative shifts left
  • Affects entire label

Usage Notes

  • Set at beginning of format
  • Common values: -50 to +50 dots
  • Useful for centering labels
  • Helps with label alignment on media
