Disables diagnostic mode and returns to normal printing

~JE - Disable Diagnostics

Overview

The ~JE command cancels the diagnostic mode enabled by ~JD and returns the printer to normal label printing operation. Stops the ASCII printout of received characters and resumes standard printing.

Syntax

~JE

Parameters

None

Description

  • Disables diagnostic mode
  • Resumes normal printing
  • Processes pending formats
  • Exits debug mode

After Diagnostics

  1. ~JE sent
  2. Printer exits diagnostic mode
  3. Resumes normal operation
  4. Processes queued formats

Data During Diagnostics

  • Formats received during ~JD not processed
  • ~JE restores normal format processing
  • Resume printing from queued formats

Usage Notes

  • Must be sent to exit diagnostic
  • Immediate effect
  • Clears diagnostic state
  • Returns full printer control
  • Should always be sent after diagnostics

Important

  • Any formats received during diagnostic mode ignored
  • ~JE must be sent to resume normal operation
  • Printer wastes media during diagnostics
  • Use for troubleshooting only
