Pauses printer and cancels next format in queue

~JP - Pause and Cancel Format

Overview

The ~JP command clears the format currently being processed or the next format in the buffer and places the printer in Pause mode. Each subsequent ~JP command clears the next buffered format until the queue is empty.

Parameters

Description

  • Cancels next/oldest format
  • Enters Pause mode
  • Each ~JP removes one format
  • Selective queue management
  • DATA LED turns off when empty

Queue Management

  • Each ~JP removes one format
  • Queue empties one format at a time
  • More selective than ~JA
  • Pause mode activated

  • Returns when new data sent
  • Indicates buffer status

1. ~JP (cancel format 1, pause)
